Coldplay frontman Chris Martin delivered a powerful message while performing in London, England, on Friday night.
The singer, who was at the center of a PR firestorm after a kiss cam exposed the Astronomer affair during one of the band’s concerts in Boston, was at Wembley Stadium on Friday, with the show being rescheduled from an original September 8 date due to the London Underground strike.
The outing marked the final night of Coldplay’s 10-show Wembley stint, which marked a record.
With America still reeling from Charlie Kirk’s assassination, alleged to have been at the hands of a 22-year-old Utah resident, Martin included the activist’s family in his plea for the 80,000 fans packed into the venue to send love.
You can see the incredible gesture in the video below, which has been doing the rounds on Twitter/X.
Chris Martin Goes Viral For Something Totally Different
As mentioned above, Chris Martin was at the center of the Coldplay Fiasco, which has likely prompted two divorces.
Kristin Cabot, the woman shown trying to run away after the camera panned to her, reportedly filed for divorce from her husband recently. At the same time, Andy Byron’s wife hinted she would do the same after her husband’s failed attempt at ducking the cam.
Of course, Martin was not to blame for the viral incident, but it’s still great to see him go viral for something positive in the aftermath of a terrible tragedy that has left many grieving.
