Khloé Kardashian Turns To Stem Cell Treatment In Mexico Amid Health Battle

Khloé Kardashian revealed she recently had a special treatment in Mexico that isn’t available in the U.S

The 41-year-old reality star shared the news on Instagram Wednesday, posting several photos from her visit. In the images, she showed a tube in her arm and held up bags of medicine.

Khloé explained she was getting a Muse stem cell treatment, which Eterna Health says can help “renew” the body by replacing damaged cells with healthy ones, especially in the joints and muscles.

Wearing black, the Good American founder posed inside the clinic alongside Dr. Akhan during the visit.

“I recently had the most INCREDIBLE experience that I had to share. Plus no one likes a gate keeper hehe,” Khloe posted.

“I received a muse stem cell treatment from Dr. Akhan (sweetest/smartest guy). I work out 5 days a week so having something to help with recovery, inflammation and overall wellness, is next level. Not to mention the bonus of anti-aging (maybe my favorite perk)

‘I’m in awe of the science and so hopeful for the future.”

Stem cells are unique because they can renew themselves and develop into specialized cells. They are already used in treating blood cancers and other blood-related disorders, according to the Cleveland Clinic, though research is still underway to see if they can help with other diseases.

Khloé, 41, shared that receiving the Muse stem cell treatment—currently not approved in the U.S.—left her feeling “so hopeful for the future.”

“My dream is that one day treatments like this will be accessible and affordable to everyone, everywhere,” she added. “I know what a privilege this treatment is and I feel so incredibly blessed we were able to receive it and with such great care.”

Two weeks earlier, Kim Kardashian revealed she had also undergone the treatment, saying it gave her immediate relief from chronic back pain. Kim shared that she injured her shoulder two years ago while lifting weights and had struggled with severe pain since then. After turning to stem cell therapy with Dr. Adeel Khan at Eterna, she said the results were immediate—restoring her full range of motion and leaving her shoulder feeling completely normal.

She expressed gratitude for having access to the therapy and hope that advancing science will make it available to more people in the future.

It is important to note, the majority of stem cell therapies remain experimental and have not been approved for widespread use.
