The president brushed the rumors off as ‘so fake’
Donald Trump has appeared for the first time in front of the cameras after rumors of his death went viral online – and viewers couldn’t help but notice the same thing.
The 79-year-old revealed that America’s space command headquarters would be relocating from Colorado to Alabama, in what was described as an ‘exciting announcement’ by Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt earlier today.
But let’s be honest, a moving space Centre wasn’t the reason any of us bothered to tune in.
Trump has spent the past week at the Centre of speculation that he’d died while in office, with no amount of photos playing golf or Truth Social announcements able to quell the rumor mill.
Speaking at the press conference, the president briefly addressed the media storm about his death during the announcement, calling the reports ‘fake news’ and that he had ‘no idea’ about the rumors.

Trump’s appearance should now be enough to end any rumors about his death, but it won’t stop people speculating about his health – as viewers watching the live footage couldn’t help but notice something looked very off with one of his hands.
More specifically, there seemed to be a product covering something on his hand.
“What happened to Donald Trump’s hand,” wrote on person on X, alongside a photo of the president’s hand appearing to be heavily smeared with concealer.
“Heavy makeup on the back of Trump’s right hand again,” added a second, while a third penned: “The person doing trump’s hand make up needs to be fired btw every time it’s so damn obvious.”

Why have people been speculating about Donald Trump’s health?
Trump has spent the past week at the Centre of some pretty bizarre death rumors.
The rumor mill kicked into action last Saturday (30 August), after people on X pointed out that the 79-year-old hadn’t made any official engagements since the Wednesday.
His lack of public appearances also collided with a shooting at a church connected to a Catholic school in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which killed two children and left several more injured.
Add the fact that an interview with Vice President JD Vance discussing what would happen should a ‘terrible tragedy’ befall Trump and a reported spike in the Pentagon ‘pizza index’ tracker and you had full blown conspiracy suggesting US officials were covering up the president’s death.
Trump previously responded to the rumors saying he’s ‘never felt better’ on Truth Social.
